Central Park, NYC
Fred asked me to marry him (I said yes).
After 10 days of hosting my parents around town, we spent the first half of our anniversary/his birthday having brunch with my family to celebrate Fred's birthday, my mom's birthday, my dad's birthday, Fred and my 4-year anniversary, and my graduation, before driving my parents to the airport.
After we got back, we took a walk in Central Park where Fred proposed to me in a wooded area near Tavern on the Green. Fred had hidden co-conspirators with a total of 3 cameras taking pictures while he was on bended knee. After discovering our friends, we took more pictures in a nearby playground, then headed to the Hudson Hotel rooftop bar for celebratory cocktails. We had dinner at an old Hell's Kitchen haunt, then down to the West Village to toast with one of my sisters. It was a wonderful day/evening.
P.S. We have made no plans yet!
